Join us for a frightfully fun Halloween Party on the 26th of October, 2024.
We’re hosting a fun-filled climbing competition, complete with an entry raffle full of awesome prizes.
And it wouldn’t be a party without food and drink, courtesy of Terra Tacos and Northern Monk.

What’s on?
Join us in the morning for free taster sessions, intros and information about all things climbing with a focus on family involvement. With sessions for kids aged 1+ & 7-14, we’ve got everything you and the whole family to give climbing a go. More details below.
In the afternoon, we’ll have a fun-filled climbing competition with traditional competition climbing blocs alongside wacky-fun-orientated challenges. More details below.
Need to keep fuelled for a full day of climbing and partying? No problem, our friends Terra Tacos will be here serving the very best in Mexican street food throughout the competition.
Once you’ve finished climbing, you’ll be able to refresh and reward yourself with a beer from Northern Monk!
What's the schedule?
Morning
We’ll be open as usual in the morning to the public and regular custom, ahead of closing at 1 pm for our competition.
Junior Climbing Taster Sessions
30-minute taster sessions, running between 9:30 am – 1 pm.
Sessions available:
Rock Tots – an exciting climbing-based class for children aged 1-6 years. It provides an opportunity to nurture natural instincts, develop motor skills and build confidence – all whilst being supported by our dedicated climbing coaches.
Kids Club – a fun and engaging one-hour session is a perfect introduction to indoor bouldering for children aged 7 to 14. Our experienced instructors have a library of games and challenges to help young climbers develop their climbing skills and gain confidence.
Afternoon
Our fun-filled competition runs 2 pm – 7 pm.
It’s a fun and friendly competition for all ages. Competition entry is £5, and includes raffle entry + a drink. Please note, normal entry rates apply. And we will not be taking walk-in entries, all tickets must be purchased in advance.
There are prizes for category rankings, with competition results announced after 7 pm upon completion of the competition.
