Description:

This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the sport climbing along the river Blau.  The climbing is located just west of the city of Ulm and south of Stuttgart.  The guidebook describes 31 limestone crags and 700 routes.  The vast majority of the sport routes are single pitch along with a few short multi-pitch routes across a wide range of grades, from UIAA grades 2 to 10 (French 2 to 8b).

For each crag there is a detailed location map, access description and GPS co-ordinates for the parking areas.  Each of the 31 crags is given a star rating from 1 to 4 to easily identify the best crags of the area.  All the routes are shown on detailed topos.

Published in June 2020 (revised 2^nd edition) by Gebro Verlag, this guidebook is full colour throughout and includes many excellent action photographs.  This guidebook is in German text, though the introduction at the start of the book is also in English.
