Author of the latest psyche-inducing climbing book, Grit Blocs, Dave Parry joins us at Depot Climbing Sheffield for an exclusive event on Thursday 17th November. This event is free to attend, but spaces are limited, so book your free ticket asap to avoid disappointment!
Dave combines his love of climbing and passion for photography to create beautifully curated images of some of the finest climbers on the best lines around. Dave will be sharing some candid stories of days at the crag with friends in this free, hour-long intimate event alongside a catalog of fantastic imagery.
You’ll get to hear rarely-heard, tall tales as well as more on the process of narrowing down all the incredible lines the gritstone has to offer into 100 selected problems in his latest book. See the shots that didn’t make it and end the evening by taking part in a Q&A with the man himself.

With over a quarter of a century spent climbing on God’s own stone on the outcrops surrounding his native Sheffield and across the Pennines, Dave feels like he’s almost there on his journey to mastering the art of grit; slopey holds, and trusting marginal feet can be quite an acquired taste, but once you catch the bug, you won’t look back!
Join us for an evening of storytelling and see a selection of Dave’s favourite shots from a life spent on grit.
