What is Depot Play?

This is the perfect introduction to the world of climbing for under-fives, under the watchful eyes of their parents and hosted by one of our expert, DBS-checked, and NSPCC Safeguarding-trained instructors.

You can expect a range of climbing, movement and balance-based games designed to develop children’s cognitive and social skills.

Playful Learning

Every moment is an opportunity to learn through fun. Games that promote problem-solving and exploration while developing balance and hand-foot coordination, while in movement.

Nurturing Confidence

Encouraging small steps and celebrating little wins. Climbers will discover their sense of strength and control, building muscle use through purposeful movement, helping them to feel strong, capable and brave in their bodies.

Togetherness

Building bonds between children and their carers and peers. Each session will help to learn patience through sharing space, connection and togetherness by cheering on and celebrating successes side by side with other climbers.

Safety & Support

A secure, welcoming space for all families. Sessions will strengthen parent-child collaboration and support, all guided by an expert instructor who will encourage climbers to try new things and help build self-esteem and a sense of personal achievement.

Growth Through Movement

Supporting holistic development through active play. Simple movement sequences help promote memory and planning, with encouragement to instil a sense of persistence and resilience.
