Half Term Sessions
Looking for a fun activity to do with the kids over the school holidays in Sheffield?
Our 1-hour holiday sessions are back! We’re running sessions for kids and families every weekday.
At £11 per person including hire, this is the ideal way to give bouldering a go if you’ve never been before or to boost your confidence and develop your skills if you’re already a regular at our centre.

WHAT IS HALF TERM CLIMBING?
Half Term Climbing is a perfect 1-hour, instructor-led climbing session that is engaging and perfect as an introduction to indoor bouldering for children aged 7 to 14.
Supervised throughout by our team of expert instructors who are both DBS-checked and NSPCC Child Protection trained, you can expect your child to be engaged in a wide selection of climbing-based games designed to develop their bouldering skills and confidence on and off the wall.
These classes are open to all abilities and suit those looking to discover the joys of bouldering through fun and games.
Are you looking for a more substantial session? Our 3.5-hour-long Holiday Club sessions provide a more comprehensive session and child care timeframe.

Registration
Before taking part in a session both the parent/guardian and attending child must watch the video induction together (see below).
Following this, a registration form must be completed prior to taking part in Half Term Sessions or NICAS BOULDERING classes. These can be completed online via the link below. Under 18 forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian.
Half-Term Climbing Booking
Classes need to be booked in advance and can be done online, over the phone, or at the centre.
There is also an option for block booking and booking multiple weeks in advance. This does not have to be consecutive weeks, if there is a week you cannot make it, then as long as the Depot Sheffield Centre knows in advance, the bookings can be rolled over to a different date.
To book please call the Centre on 0114 327 1948 or through our website below. All classes are on a first-come first served basis. You can book as many weeks as you like in order to save your spot.
All abilities are welcome. Please note Kids Club is for ages 7+, we offer Wild Climbers classes for under 7’s.
If you are looking for something more substantial, our Holiday Club sessions are 3.5-hour instructor-guided sessions that run throughout the school holidays.
