Access Sport Accessible Sessions at BIG Depot Manchester
For Junior and Adult climbers
Working with Access Sport to bring accessible Climbz sessions to BIG Depot Manchester.
Through their Changing Sports climbing programme, Access Sport have helped provide funding and support for equipment and training to aid us in offering accessible and inclusive sessions and share the joy of climbing with everybody!
Climbing is an excellent way for participants to experience the transformational benefits of community sport.
Access Sport is working with multiple climbing wall partners to offer adapted and sustainable disability climbing and bouldering offerings, and help make climbing centres more inclusive and welcoming to all.
Booking Information
Our Accessible Climbing Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, making sure you get the best possible experience.
To help us prepare, bookings close 5 days before each session. During this time, we may be in touch to ask for extra details, or occasionally suggest an alternative time if it means you’ll have the right support in place.
Parents, carers, or support staff may also be asked to assist, especially if it’s your first time, but this will always depend on the individual. Our aim is simple: to make climbing open to everyone.

Accessible Junior Sessions
When? Every Saturday
What Time? 18:00-19:00
Age Range: 7-17
How Much? £8 per person
Group Size: 1:4 (1 instructor to 4 participants)
All under-18 participants will require a registration completed by a legal parent or guardian. A school/accommodation manager may also complete this, and will need to complete it before the session.
Accessible Senior Sessions
When? Every Friday
What Time? 13:00-15:00
Age Range: 18-25
How Much? £14.5 per person
Group Size: 1:4 (1 instructor to 4 participants)
All participants will require a registration and will need to complete it before the session.
