British Lead Climbing Championships
at BIG Depot Manchester
The British Mountaineering Council’s British Lead Climbing Championships is one of the highlights of the UK competition season, and it’s coming to Manchester as we host the best of UK climbing at our brand new state-of-the-art centre in Wythenshawe, South Manchester.

When? 8th & 9th of February, 2025.

How will this affect my climbing at BD Manchester?
Our centre will be open to regular climbing entries from 09:00-21:00 on Saturday and 09:00-17:00 on Sunday.
From 17:00 you will need a spectator ticket from the BMC to watch the finals. No regular climbing will take place in the centre during finals.
During the week commencing the 3rd, the Biographie area will not be available as work takes place to prepare for the event.
On the 8th & 9th, the biograpahie area will be closed. All bouldering areas will be open as usual, with plenty of roped climbing areas available too.
