Everyone’s favourite Junior Climbing Competition, the Depot Youth Cup bouldering competition, is coming to Manchester in 2025, in collaboration with CORE Climbing.
Making the switch across the Pennines from Depot Sheffield to BIG Depot Manchester, the Youth Cup is evolving, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Depot Youth Cup 2025
All competitors must have a signed and completed registration form completed by a legal parent or guardian. Any accompanying adults must also sign a Depot Climbing registration for themselves.
Please do not arrive more than an hour before your designated session.
Depot Youth Cup Age Category Breakdown
An athlete’s competition age category for the entire year will be determined by their age on December 31st 2025.
For example, if a climber turns 14 on November 10, they’ll compete in the U15 category all year long, even if they’re still technically 13 during the earlier part of the year.

BIG Depot Climbing Registration
Before taking part in Youth Cup, both the parent/guardian and the attending child must watch the video induction together. Following this, a registration form must be completed before participating in the DYC.
These can be completed online via the link below. Under-18 forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian for kids climbing in Manchester.
