Who are Core Climbing?
If you’ve done any climbing indoors, chances are you’ve been pulling on some infamous Core holds, and when you can’t quite hold on, you’ve been caught by Core matting!
Born in Sheffield, by climbers, for climbers, Core has now turned its knowledge and expertise to the outdoor matting market with a range of high-quality, portable crash pads.

1. Head down to your local Depot Climbing centre
Each Depot centre has a specially set ‘Core’ boulder, around V4
2. Record your attempt and upload it to Instagram
Create a video to post on your Instagram account and add the #MyDepotCore #CoreClimbing #DepotClimbing tags to enter
3. Sit back and wait to see if you’re selected as a winner
Core & Depot Climbing will pick the top 3 entries who will win a Core bouldering mat product prize. Each entry will also enter into a location-specific raffle that could land you a Core bouldering bucket chalk bag or tee.

Hand Stitched in Sheffield
Core have lined up three top prizes for any aspiring outdoor boulderer to make the most of! All Core pads are hand stitched in Sheffield, using the highest quality materials.
They are giving away 1 of each of the following prizes.
1st Place: Workhorse Crash Pad. It is a hybrid-hinge fold bouldering mat, perfect for anyone who climbs outdoors.
2nd Place: Reactor Half Pad. A perfect middle ground between sit start mat and a full bouldering pad for those extra coverage needs—a great complimentary piece to have in your outdoor kit.
3rd Place: Nucelus Sit Pad. Ideal for extra surface area, covering gaps in matting and wiping feet before climbing.
Core for Everyone
Entries across all 6 Depot Climbing centres will be eligible for a chance to win one of the 3 main prizes from Core, but every Depot centre has also got a selection of Core bouldering chalk buckets and tee’s to give away.
These prizes will be awarded at random by the relevant Depot Climbing site. We are one of very few outlets to have Core crash pads in stock, come and visit out in-site shops to have a look up close!
