Cashless Payments

In line with the wider national movement towards a cashless society, from the 1st of March 2023, all Depot Climbing centres will operate a cashless payment policy.

Free entry for carers

Visitors to a Depot Climbing Centre with disabilities may admit one accompanying carer free of charge when paying entry for themselves.

Our staff may ask you to supply proof of entitlement when you arrive; this may be a blue badge, or a Personal Independence Payments letter (issued by the DWP benefit office).

For a carer attending who is there in a professional capacity (they are a paid carer/employed as a carer) we require proof of employee and role, a digital copy will be stored securely on your account or will need to be produced on each visit.

Once this is provided you will be able to sign in participants using our usual supervision procedures and act as a guardian. We require this in order to ensure that those supervising are employed in this position and as such can act as a guardian.

If the carer is a parent or guardian then we simply need to see proof of entitlement.

We recommend that anyone attending in this capacity contacts the centre in advance so we can discuss any specific needs ensuring the smoothest entry into the centre and best experience for all participants.

Who can complete registration forms (on the website)

The registration form must be completed by a parent, guardian or Care Manager. When completing the form and signing the supervision form a guardian must accept the responsibility for all terms and conditions and anyone they are supervising.
