Change to Zone Reset Schedule

From 28th January 2026, our route setting will change from circuit resets to zoned area resets.

You may have noticed something different about our January 2026 reset calendar, but what does Zone mean for you?

We are going to implement a zone-based reset schedule, which will divide the centre into zoned areas that will be stripped and reset each week. Our coloured V-grade circuits will still be here, just not set as a whole circuit in one go.

The benefits of this system are multiple, with the biggest ones for you, our customers, being new boulders for everyone, every week! No more waiting around for new blocs on your favourite coloured circuit.

Secondly, we’ll be stripping the areas on the day we reset them, which means there is more time with boulders on the wall, no more stripping the day before resetting!

Our route setters will also be able to get more creative with their setting, as larger areas of wall will be available to set our comprehensive range of graded blocs, providing more variation, creativity and complexity to our climbing.

We’ll still be resetting on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the same amount of climbing available, but as mentioned above, less disruption to the centre for you, and more creative freedom for our setters. Everybody wins!

Each month, we’ll continue to post the coming months’ reset calendar, but it will look a little different.  To make it as clear as possible, we’ve mapped out the centre into 9 various zones covering our N1, N2 and N8 rooms. N7 is not included, as this is the training area room.

Below is our new area map, so you can see the new areas.  If you have any questions, please speak to a member of staff.

The Zones Areas are as follows for each room (N1, N2, & N3).

N1 Areas

1. The Slabs

2. The Islands

3. The A Frame

4. The Barrel

5. The Prow

N2 Areas

5. The Prow

6. The Vert

7. The Big Island

8. The Comp Walls

N3 Areas

8. The Comp Walls

9. The Back Room
