Get Started is for you! Meet fellow climbers, make new friends, and get some top tips from our expert coaches. These sessions are FREE with entry.

What's involved?
A 30-minute, instructor-led session will cover all the things you need to know to make the most of your visit to Depot Nottingham and meet fellow new climbers.
Starting with safety, we’ll cover best practices, do’s, and dont’s to keep you climbing safely throughout your climbing journey and show you around the centre facilities, from our climbing walls to training areas.
We’ll explain how the grading system works, what training equipment is there for, and how to safely use the gym equipment.
Then we’ll cover a few basic techniques and skills that will help you start your climbing experience on the most substantial footing, from ensuring you’re fully warmed up, to placing your feet and hands efficiently.

Registrations
Registration forms must be completed prior to taking part in the induction/classes. These can be completed online, via the links below.
All adults participating in the induction must complete the adult unsupervised waiver form. Under 18 waiver forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian for any child attending the class.
Get Started Booking
Although free, Get Started sessions need to be booked in advance and can be done online, over the phone or at the centre.
The session is free to book, you’ll just need to pay your regular entry price.
