Climbing in Nottingham
Here at Depot Climbing Nottingham, we run great clubs for our younger climbers. All abilities are catered for and we provide all the necessary climbing equipment.
From absolute beginners to those competing at the highest standard; we have expert tuition available.
All of our expert instructors are DBS-checked and NSPCC Child Protection trained.
Read below for a full list of all our available climbing sessions, suitable for ages 1 through 14.
Depot Climbing Registration
Before taking part in a session at a Depot Climbing centre, both the parent/guardian and the attending child must watch the video induction together. Following this a registration form must be completed before taking part in Junior sessions or NIBAS classes.
These can be completed online via the link below. Under 18 forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian for any kids climbing.
Holiday Club Climbing
A fun-filled, 3-and-a-half-hour, educational session for junior climbers with our team of expert instructors; open to any experience level.
Inclusive of shoe hire, refreshments, and expertly qualified coaches, Holiday Club is the easy option for children in the school holidays to discover all that climbing has on offer, make new friends, and have fun along the way.
Parents can expect to leave their kids in the safe hands of our team of instructors who are DBS-checked and NSPCC qualified.

Depot Play classes at depot Nottingham
The perfect introduction to climbing for under 5’s and their parents, Depot Play helps adventurous young spirits develop their cognitive and social skills in a group environment through climbing-based games and activities.
These sessions are parent supervised and are hosted by one of our NSPCC child protection trained instructors.

Wild Climbers at depot Nottingham
Now available to book in Nottingham if you have a child aged 4-6, who is ready to climb independently with an instructor, then NICAS Wild Climbers is the ideal choice!
It’s a fun, game-orientated program that aims to introduce young children safely into the indoor climbing environment.
Developing their awareness of climbing movements, improving confidence, and creating a grassroots pathway into additional climbing activities.

NICAS Bouldering at depot Nottingham
Previously known as NIBAS, the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme for bouldering is a UK-wide coaching scheme.
Designed to introduce and promote climbing with the aim of creating competent and confident climbers.
Classes are aimed at children age 7+. NICAS brings you certified junior climbing pathways in conjunction with Depot Climbing.

Kids Club At Depot Nottingham
This fun and engaging one-hour session is a perfect introduction to indoor bouldering for children aged 7 to 14.
Our experienced instructors have a library of games and challenges to help young climbers develop their climbing skills and gain confidence.
These classes are open to all abilities and suit those looking to discover the joys of climbing through fun and games.

Half Term Climbing in Nottingham
School holiday climbing has never been easier!
We run great clubs for our younger climbers looking for a social climbing session that provides tips and pointers on improving their climbing skills.
All abilities are catered for and we provide all the necessary climbing equipment.
From absolute beginners to those competing at the highest standard; we have expert tuition on hand to provide the perfect balance of fun, fitness, and skills during the school break.
Sessions are £11 per person and are 1 hour in length, including shoe hire, supervision, and instruction from one of our expert coaches in a ratio of 1 coach to every 6 children.

Bringing your child climbing has never been easier with our holiday sessions!
Choose from a range of activities, starting from age 3 through to 14, we’ve got the club for you.
Half Term Club is a 1 hour, instructor-led session with one of our experienced climbing instructors.
Perfect for learning the basic to intermediate skills for climbing in a fun0-filled social environment. Suitable for all ages (7-18), see below for further details.
Wild Climbers sessions are for children between 3-7 and are a game-oriented introduction for your little climbers.
Each session uses a different movement skill as a theme and is brilliant for their development as well as being fun.
Rock Tots sessions are aimed at those taking their very first steps, suitable for ages 1-6 it is the perfect environment for nurturing natural movements.
Supervised by expert coaches in an encouraging environment, it’s the perfect way to get your little one moving confidently.
NICAS Bouldering is a national award coaching scheme aimed at ages 7+ designed for competent and confident climbers.
Perfect for those who want to progress from Wild Climbers and Rock Tots while also being a great starting point for any newer climbers looking to develop skills in an accredited manner.
