WHAT IS KIDS CLUB?

This fun and engaging one-hour session is a perfect introduction to indoor bouldering for children aged 7 to 14.

Our experienced instructors have a library of games and challenges to help young climbers develop their climbing skills and gain confidence.

These classes are open to all abilities and suit those looking to discover the joys of climbing through fun and games.

Our NICAS Bouldering Sessions are a good progression from our Kids Club for those interested in improving their climbing through a structured syllabus, accompanied by a logbook and certificates.

what does it cost?

Kids Club: £7.50

Registration

Before taking part in a session both the parent/guardian and attending child must watch the video induction together (see below). Following this, a registration form must be completed prior to taking part in Kids Club or NICAS BOULDERING classes. These can be completed online via the link below. Under 18 forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian.

KIDS CLUB BOOKING

Classes need to be booked in advance and can be done online, over the phone, or at the centre.

There is also an option for block booking and booking multiple weeks in advance. This does not have to be consecutive weeks, if there is a week you cannot make, then as long as the Depot Climbing Centre knows in advance, the bookings can be rolled over to a different date.

To book please call the Centre on 0115 958 9214 or through our website below. All classes are on a first-come first served basis. You can book as many weeks as you like in order to save your spot.

All abilities are welcome. Please note Kids Club is for ages 7+, we offer Wild Climbers classes for under 7’s.

NICAS Bouldering

The perfect progression from our Kids Club, NICAS Bouldering is focused on cultivating a lifelong involvement in climbing, the scheme teaches climbing techniques, terminology, equipment use, safety, and etiquette while providing a record of personal achievement.
