Family Climbing
For family groups of up to 6 people (minimum of 1 adult + 1 child) during the school holidays, Family Climbing sessions will give the whole family a taste of what indoor rock climbing is all about.
Climbing offers a shared activity for the whole family, bringing together fun, excitement, problem-solving and bonding. The adults will learn some basic skills to set up a pathway to independent family climbing, and the kids will discover the joys of challenging gravity.
What Is Family Climbing?
It’s the perfect introduction to climbing for the whole family, helping adults and children alike take their first steps into the world of indoor rock climbing during the school holidays.
A 1-hour session with the expert instruction of one of our in-house instructors will give you a taste of what climbing can offer you and your family, from teaching you the basics of climbing movement to how to safely use the centre and equipment.
You can expect a range of fun, climbing-related games and challenges to engage you and your little ones, to get you ready to climb as a family independently using our auto-belay climbing systems and bouldering areas.
It’s one family per session, so you won’t be sharing this with multiple families. This means we can fully focus on getting you and your young ones climbing confidently.
Logistics
When are Family Sessions available?
During the school holidays, there will be 6 bookable sessions per week.
We offer sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, with 2 sessions per day. 2-3pm and 3-4pm.
How Much Is It?
£10 per participant. Inclusive of wall entry and equipment hire.
Registrations
Registration forms must be completed prior to taking part in the sessions/classes. These can be completed online, via the links below. Under-18 waiver forms must be completed by a parent or legally appointed guardian for any child attending the class.
Adults attending the classes can complete an 18+ Unsupervised registration form.
