Holiday Camp Climbing Sessions
Our famous Holiday Camp is the perfect way for your young ones to develop competence, and confidence, and make some fantastic memories over the school holidays.
Open to any experience level, from first-timer to long-time climber.
Camp runs from 10 am until 4:30 pm Monday-Friday throughout the 2023/24 School Holidays.
For ages 7+, our Holiday Camps are educational and exciting, see how we can continue your child’s development outside of term time with our Holiday Camp days.
From the moment they join us, all junior climbers will be under the careful supervision of our DBS-checked and NSPCC Child Protection trained instructors so you can be sure your juniors are in the safest hands.

What Is Holiday Camp?
Big Depot Holiday Camp offers educational and exciting climbing activity days throughout the School Holidays, providing game-orientated climbing activities that will focus on developing competence and confidence both on and off the wall.
Open to any experience level, from first-timer to long-time climbers, there’s something for all abilities in our Holiday Camp sessions.
You can expect your child to come home full of stories about using our climbing walls, auto belays, abseil ledge, and bouldering; they’ll even have a bit of time for some arts and crafts in between!
Fully supervised from the moment they arrive to when you pick them back up, your children are in safe hands. Our expert instructors are CRB checked and have received NSPCC child protection training. You can see our Child Protection Policy below.

How Much Is It?
£35 per child, per day.
Price includes entry, instructor fee, equipment hire, lunch, and refreshments.

Wednesday: 10 am – 4:30 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 4:30 pm
Friday: 10 am – 4:30 pm

Why Climbing?
Climbing is a fantastic activity that provides full-body movement and is a true sport for life – our oldest active customer is 88!
While climbing initially developed outdoors, it’s now possible to climb year-round and make climbing work around a busy school and work schedule thanks to indoor facilities like ours.
In fact, a lot of our customers only ever climb indoors, and indoor climbing has firmly established itself as a discipline of its own.
The benefits for children are exactly the same as for adults. Climbing teaches responsibility (for yourself and for others), independent decision-making, self-reliance, confidence, and an appreciation of all of the amazing things that the human body can do.
With climbing being included in the Olympic Games for the first time this year, now is the perfect time to get really involved with this amazing sport.
