What is Holiday Club?

A fun-filled 3.5 hours of climbing-related activities that are rooted in developing balance, agility, teamwork, and confidence that includes lunch, refreshments, and any equipment necessary.

Each session has up to 16 participants with 2 fully qualified, DBS checked & NSPCC trained instructors providing constant supervision, instruction, and care.

The session begins with an introduction and shoe fitting before icebreakers and team-building exercises.

A quick refreshment and toilet break precedes a fun-filled climbing session around the centre where participants will be coached through specific movements in game-orientated activities.

Breaking for another drink and comfort break, participants will then be offered the option of further climbing activities, games, and arts and crafts, before ending the session with lunch (included).

Why Climbing?

Climbing is a fantastic activity that provides full-body movement and is a true sport for life – our oldest active customer is 88!

While climbing initially developed outdoors, it’s now possible to climb year-round and make climbing work around a busy school and work schedule thanks to indoor facilities like ours.

In fact, a lot of our customers only ever climb indoors, and indoor climbing has firmly established itself as a discipline of its own.

The benefits for children are exactly the same as for adults. Climbing teaches responsibility (for yourself and for others), independent decision-making, self-reliance, confidence, and an appreciation of all of the amazing things that the human body can do.

With climbing being included in the Olympic Games again this year, now is the perfect time to get really involved with this amazing sport.
