Friday Film Night
With Tokyo 2020 officially underway and climbing being included as a discipline for the first time, we thought we’d bring you an Olympic-themed Friday Film Night this week.
‘World Debut: From Outsiders to the Olympics’ is a feature-length documentary (yep, get cosy, there’s nearly 90 minutes of it!) telling the story of how three of the most unlikely Olympic sports found their way into the mainstream.
Skateboarding, surfing, and climbing have evolved from being fringe subcultures to some of the fastest-growing activities in existence. We’re thrilled that the sport we love is reaching a broader audience, and we’ll be sat in our front-row sofa seats on 3rd August when climbing makes its debut with the men’s combined event.
Right, we’re off to get our PJs on, order a pizza, and watch the film. Who’s joining us?
