Like so many of you, we’ve been deeply saddened by the events in Ukraine. In an effort coordinated by Serious Climbing Distribution, the climbing community is pulling together to collect and deliver much-needed items to those displaced by the ongoing conflict.
Along with a number of other UK climbing walls, we are now hosting a donation collection point at every Depot Climbing centre. Please only bring items in good condition – things that you would still use and rely on if you were heading outdoors. Here’s a list of items that are urgently needed:
Clothing:
Down and technical insulated clothing
Gore-Tex clothing
Warm walking boots
Outdoor/ski gloves, hats & scarves
Sleeping:
Good quality tents (no missing parts or tears)
Good quality sleeping bags (with working zips)
Carry mats
Warm blankets
Head torches with batteries
Food:
Tinned food that can be opened without a tin opener
Baby food
Baby formula
Camping bowl/plates/mugs/cutlery
Hygiene:
Female sanitary products
Nappies
Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
Shampoo/deodorant
Medical:
First aid kits and first aid supplies
Ibuprofen
Aspirin
Paracetamol
