Welcome to the Depot Climbing team!
We’re very excited to announce a new member of the Depot Climbing athlete team – Josh Ibbertson. Josh made headlines last year when he became the second-youngest person to climb Rainshadow 9a at Malham Cove. This was his first 9a and since then he’s been going from strength to strength.
Not letting a little pandemic get in the way of his training, 17-year-old Josh recently climbed the classic 8c+ ‘Progress’ at Kilnsey and has since set his sights even higher. Keep an eye out for big news on that one.
Josh rose through the ranks of our very own Depot Academy as a youngster so we’re absolutely thrilled to have him as part of our sponsored team.
