Refurbishment Closure Information
Depot Climbing Pudsey is entering a period of refurbishment that will require the centre to close for a period of time from 6th September 2026.
We are looking forward to bringing Pudsey up to date as a modern climbing centre facility, whilst keeping to our core setting style that people know and love.
We are also excited to announce that this winter we will be extending Depot Armley, which will increase the climbing by 70%. More information to come in the near future.
During the closure, our other two sites in Leeds will be available for all our customers.
Regular customers who have been climbing with us recently will have received an email (if subscribed to our email list) with details on how to continue climbing with Depot during this period of closure.

We are confident that our two other Leeds sites can temporarily fill the gap we leave behind, with their world-class facilities ranging from modern-style bouldering and a fully equipped gym facility to cutting-edge roped climbing offerings for all ages and abilities.
For Unlimited Climbing Pass holders who do not wish to take up our other sites or offerings, you can complete a membership change request using the link below to ease the transition.
Depot Pudsey Sessions
We have taken steps to ensure that our regular sessions continue as consistently as possible.
Adult Classes
Adult sessions will not be transferring over, but you can find a full list of bouldering classes at Armley and roped climbing sessions at BIG Depot on their websites.
Social Sessions
Our social sessions have counterparts in Armley:
LGBTQIA+ social takes place on Mondays at 19:00
Open Social takes place on Tuesdays at 19:30
Women’s Night takes place every Friday at 19:30
Junior Climbing Sessions
We have moved our entire junior climbing sessions calendar over to Armley, so your sessions will continue at the same time and, where possible, with the same member of staff your young climbers are used to climbing with; the only difference is that they will take place at Depot Armley.

Depot Pudsey Memories
As the original Depot Climbing Centre, we’ve been around since 2009 and, in that time, have shared some wonderful moments with communities that span generations.
We are going to be sharing some of our favourite memories from the vaults while we are closed, and we’d love to share some of yours too!
If you have any memories or pictures you’d like to share, we’d love to accept submissions and post a series of memories you’ve all made that have helped make this such a special climbing centre.
